Steeped in three continents

Bonsai Tea was born around the world and around a cup. Its founder Shay Millar grew up between continents, where a pot of tea was always brewing and every home, every stranger, every friend poured it the same way: as an invitation. Tea was never just tea. It was a way of saying "I see you. Sit down. You belong here."

That's the philosophy behind the name. Like a bonsai — slow, deliberate, patiently tended — everything here moves at pace over race. We opened in Winter Park to give this town a place to slow down, somewhere that feels less like a shop and more like home. When you walk in, we want you to feel welcome and taken care of, comfortable enough to tell us what you really want.

Because here, it's never a transaction. It's always a conversation. We don't do custom tea. We do tailored tea.
